Hello!
I recorded an arrangement of the 2026 Youth Theme Song “Walk With Me” by Nik Day. Nik Day is a prolific composer of LDS songs like Peace in Christ, I Will Go and Do, A Great Work, and so much more. If you look at the Youth Theme albums over recent years his name is all over the place! His songs are relatable, catchy and the messages are always so clear and beautiful. When you look him up it says (Nik Day) “has written hundreds of songs for The Church of Jesus Christ and his songs have been translated into over 40 languages and performed around the world”. How amazing is that!!!
In Abraham chapters 1 and 2 from our recent Come Follow Me lesson a week or so ago, the Lord says to Abraham:
Abraham 1:18 Behold, I will lead thee by my hand, and I will take thee, to put upon thee my name, even the Priesthood of thy father, and my power shall be over thee.
Abraham 2:8 My name is Jehovah, and I know the end from the beginning; therefore my hand shall be over thee.
These verses are beautiful.
It makes me wonder why we would stumble through life—unsure of what we are doing or where we are going—when we could instead hold the hand of the Savior, the Lord of the universe. By allowing Him to lead us, we avoid pitfalls and wrong turns; He lifts us when we fall, strengthens us when we are weak, and leads us toward life, living waters, peace, and rest.
