This week, I am posting a vocal arrangement of our Come Follow Me suggested song, “I Wonder When He Comes Again” from the LDS Children’s Songbook. It is a beautiful song about the second coming of Jesus Christ. We are studying chapters 58-66 in the book of Isaiah, who speaks of “that day” when our Savior will come again.
- Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee”.
- Isaiah 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
- Isaiah 66:15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

I Wonder When He Comes Again was written by Mirla Greenwood Thayne, 1907-1997.

You always write such nice introductions to these songs. Also, I appreciate that you include the lyrics at the bottom of the screen as you sing. On all of these songs, it seems like I find things in the lyrics that I had somehow forgotten or overlooked during the prior hundreds of times I have heard and sung them.
