I Feel My Savior’s Love – Vocal Solo

Hello! I Feel My Savior’s Love  is a suggested hymn for the Book of Mormon lesson “Come and Partake of the Fruit” studying the 1 Nephi 6–10. This lesson includes a prophetic vision or dream that Lehi shares with his family. This dream has layers of meaning, I am sure, but one core aspect of it is the light and love that God offers those who will come unto him.

I Feel My Savior’s Love

This week, I am posting a piano arrangement of our Come Follow Me suggested song, “I Feel My Savior’s Love” from the LDS Children’s Songbook.  I used verses 1,2 and 4 for the lyrics and depiction in this video – so as to consider a lesser known verse, which expands on the idea of feeling the Savior’s love to carry that love to all around us. This lesson studies chapters 30-36 in the book of Jeremiah and chapters 1;3 in Lamentations.

The Worth of a Soul

The Worth of a Soul

Today I want to go into the background behind May’s song – “As I Ponder My Eternal Value”. The first verse is about trying to recognize and appreciate our own value, worth and potential. I think that before we can truly value other people as individuals, we need to value ourselves. We are all like a $100 bill, worth the same amount. Some $100 bills might be crumpled up and some might be crisp and new, but they all have the same worth, 100 dollars. Each person is like a $100 bill…..equally valuable.
