Verse 1:
How could the Father tell the world of love and tenderness? He sent his Son, a newborn babe, with peace and holiness. How could the Father show the world the pathway we should go? He sent his Son to walk with men on earth, that we may know. How could the Father tell the world of sacrifice, of death? He sent his Son to die for us and rise with living breath. What does the Father ask of us? What do the scriptures say? Have faith, have hope, live like his Son, help others on their way.
Verse 2:
He Sent His Son – Lyrics
How could the Father give to us, all that he has to give? He sent his Son to make a path, a way that we may live. How could the Father gather us, back to his loving arms? He sent his Son to build the bridge, to lead us far from harm. How could the Father tell us all, how much we mean to him? He sent his Son to rescue us and he will come again. What does the Father ask of us? What do the prophets say? Come unto him, remember him. Choose the right way.
