I am hoping the song will speak for itself. But in writing it, I tried to inspire action on the topic that I was asked to write about…”How can we come to know Jesus Christ in the scriptures so that one day, when he comes again, we will actually know him and have a close relationship with him?” I also love the idea that God has opened the heavens and speaks today. He is so generous in manifesting himself to those who seek him. I believe that studying the scriptures, in particular, gives the Holy Ghost ample opportunity to teach us and testify to us of Christ. I have a personal testimony of these principles, and I love our Savior Jesus Christ and the peace I find because of him.
Revelation 3:20, 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

I weep for those who struggle spiritually or who carry heavy burdens alone because they do not understand what Jesus Christ did for them.
