Dear to the Heart of the Shepherd – New Testament Version

The stories (bible videos depictions) included within this arrangement are: The Prodigal Son, Jesus teaching to seek the Kingdom of God and The Parable of the Lost Sheep.

Dear to the Heart of the Shepherd” was another repeated suggested song, which to be honest, is helpful for me since we are moving right now and I am trying to get a little ahead with the overall project :). I updated the video to include images and videos that pertain to this section of scripture.  The first video was for the book of Ezekiel in the Old Testament. This week’s lesson studies Luke 12-17 and John 11. This hymn is perfect for some of the principles taught here about seeking after those who may be “lost”.

  • Luke 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
