I Know that My Redeemer Lives

The story of Job is one of great trial and difficulty. Job experienced suffering including physical pain, the loss of his possessions, the death of his children and the judgement from or turning away of friends and family. In the Come Follow Me manual it says: “Because of Job’s trials…he wondered if God was really just after all. But despite his suffering and wondering, Job maintained his integrity and faith in Jesus Christ. Sometimes the most important truths are revealed to us in the midst of our deepest anguish.”

In chapter 19, Job describes his great difficulties and trials, but toward the end of the chapter he declares that despite everything…25… I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:”
